Homecoming Events Thursday, September 26th.
On Friday, twelve NHS seniors had the opportunity to tour the School of Health Sciences at Itawamba Community College. They learned about the 11 different programs offered and were able to tour the different simulation labs associated with each program.
Assistant superintendent Kristy Keeton is leading a novice teacher professional learning community this year to strengthen teachers practice. This past week teachers discussed the importance of routines and rituals in the classroom to facilitate student learning.
Nettleton High School senior Ximena Taboada-Hernandez, who wants to become an elementary teacher, is completing a 100-hour paid internship through the Classrooms to Careers grant at Nettleton Primary School. This grant is an initiative of the Toyota Wellspring Education Fund and CREATE Foundation.
