NHS Seniors got a taste of the 'real world' during their Real World event on Thursday. Students were given careers and scenarios (married/single, children and their ages, etc) and had to visit 16 different stations to 'pay their monthly bills' with the goal being to have some money left at the end of the month. Stations included things like house payment and insurance, groceries, utilities, health insurance, entertainment, and personal care. The students said that they learned so much from the activity. A huge thank you to the community volunteers who helped man the stations and worked with our students to make this event a huge success.
